CEO Retreat is an exclusive event that provides an opportunity for leaders of philanthropic organisations such as national associations and donors‘ forums to come together to consider relevant strategic and operational issues.

This network provides a trusted and safe space for communications professionals from Philea members to strengthen existing relationships with peers and to build new ones, share knowledge and practices and co-develop solutions on issues of common interest.

The Philea Data Science Group brings together data scientists and data enthusiasts working within the philanthropic sector.  The monthly meetings address the potential advantages of using data analysis for the social sector as well as its risks and pitfalls and strategies to limit them.

This group of senior financial and investment officers of large independent European foundations aims to advance the knowledge on the investment environment and practice of foundations across Europe and further the professionalism of its members.

This community aims to connect topical experts from philanthropic organisations to learn with and from peers about new learning paradigms and practices, and inspire new thinking.

The CEO Exchange meets a need expressed by Philea members to create a safe and trusted space for exchange, learning and reflection among CEOs of Philea member organisations on issues.

This European-level peer-learning and support network of operations managers of international philanthropy organisations provides a safe space for learning, exchange and discussion on key finance, IT, administration, operational, HR, legal and capacity development issues.

This initiative has its roots in an informal peer-learning group set up by five foundations including Laudes, MAVA, Mercator Switzerland, Oak and PeaceNexus that provide organisational development (OD) support to their grantees.
