The Data Science Group will explore “How Can Data Inform Foundations on their Funding?” online on 6 December.
Foundations across Europe continue to embrace and acknowledge the need for data and data science to hold a central role in decision-making processes. It can help inform foundations of their current activities, including funding and this can include categorising funding based on theme, the constituencies and communities that are being which in turn can help assist funders in understanding potential gaps.
The Data Science Group session will see Hikmat Olatinwo, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation share details on a data project the foundation is working on, as well as a discussion with other data scientists and enthusiasts from the sector.
