Our new members:

Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation – Greece

The Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation focuses on three main axes of work, namely agricultural development, social support, and cultural development, with all three axes represented in the Center for Agri-Food Entrepreneurship in Messinia, a collaborative project striving for balanced development of Messinia’s agricultural economy.
Established in 2011, the foundation works on a “bottom up” approach, keeping in close contact with all technical experts in its fields, ensuring relevance and technical expertise in its actions.

 

Schwarzkopf-Stiftung – Germany

Schwarzkopf-Stiftung mission is to support the development of young people into politically-aware and responsible citizens by focusing on the strengthening of the European Idea and pan-European understanding. Their aim is to develop a dialogue between young people of 16 and 28 years of age and leading figures from the world of politics, the economy and culture.

Established in 1971, they provide young people with information about the decision-making process in Europe and make this process visible and tangible and thus beneficial to the education of young people.

 

Our new affiliate:

Simavi – Netherlands

Simavi was founded in 1925 with the aim was to provide medical assistance for health institutions in the former Dutch East Indies. Ever since, Simavi has been working to improve standards of health in developing countries.

From its early years, of shipping medicines and essential health supplies it has expanded the scale of its operations and activities to work with over 30 million people and is active in nine countries: Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Today, Simavi also works to support local CSOs and initiatives, working with an integrated approach on local, national and international levels.
