How to engage
Join the community
This community is for professionals in Philea member organisations with specialised data and AI roles. Full members are organisations with in-house expertise in areas such as data analysis, data governance, data engineering, machine learning or responsible AI. These members can take part in all network activities, including:
- In-person meetings
- Online exchanges
- Contributing to the annual work plan
- Peer-learning, practical examples and shared tools that support the use of data and AI in philanthropy
The community is open and actively seeking members. Foundations with specialised data or AI roles that meet the criteria can get in touch to join. Eligible organisations will be guided through the next steps and added to the network as places allow.
Participation in selected activities
Philea members who are not part of the community may occasionally be invited to join selected activities, such as workshops or thematic sessions, when their expertise is relevant. These invitations do not grant full membership.
Non-Philea organisations may, in rare cases, contribute as speakers or subject specialists for specific sessions and this is assessed individually.
Join the Sounding Board
Composed of selected members, the Sounding Board helps shape the network’s priorities and activities. Membership is limited and based on expertise, engagement and balance across organisational profiles.
