UNHCR Concert – ”Refugees for Refugees”

To celebrate World Refugee Day on the 20th June, the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, is organising a concert in Brussels comprised of refugee musicians from across the globe.

The concert in Flagey, offers a first-hand experience of how refugees, including experienced musicians who have been trained at some of the most prestigious music academies in the Middle East, can contribute their talent to their new homeland. “Refugees for Refugees”, composed of 10 musicians from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Tibet and Belgium, aims to make the voices of refugees heard through the music of the band.
