Philanthropic Leadership Platform: China-Europe – Collaboration in Times of Uncertainty

The Philanthropic Leadership Platform: China-Europe will host an alumni event “Collaboration in Times of Uncertainty” on 18 May in Copenhagen.
The gathering will bring together alumni of the Philanthropic Learning Platform: China–Europe to explore collaboration, a priority increasingly voiced across our sector as we navigate a challenging and fast-changing environment. This gathering is designed to go beyond theory and provide practical insights into how foundations collaborate in real-world settings, where opportunities exist to pool resources and ideas, and how multi-stakeholder approaches can drive systems change.
Participants will learn about emerging modalities and trends in collaboration, discover what makes partnerships effective, and gain actionable strategies to strengthen collaborative efforts. Through peer-exchange and expert input, the event will offer concrete tools and examples to help alumni turn collaboration into a powerful driver of impact.
Taking place just before the Members Day of the Philea Forum 2026 in Copenhagen, this interactive gathering will give alumni the chance to reconnect, meet new peers, and exchange ideas on how to work together more effectively.
Alumni who register to attend the Philea Forum 2026 will also benefit from a curated ‘PLP Forum Learning Track’, highlighting relevant sessions focused on collaboration and systems-change thinking. The programme will conclude with an optional lunch on 21 May to share insights and strengthen connections within this international community.
There is no additional registration fee for the event, and all breakfast and lunches offered during the alumni programme are covered. Philea Forum 2026 registration, accommodation and travel costs are the responsibility of participants.
