Organisational Development Community of Practice – Charting the Path Ahead: A Community Review
The Organisational Development Community of Practice will host “Charting the Path Ahead: A Community Review” online on 22 September, to explore the community’s activities to date and plan the focus for the upcoming year.
Over the few years of its existence the community offer has included a number of online sessions, two in-person meetings, Philea Forum sessions, several knowledge products and an online repository of resources. What initially was a small number of foundations getting started with Organisational Development (OD) support, has grown into a larger group of practitioners who have developed various approaches and acquired valuable know-how. The OD support has become increasingly mainstream and ever so relevant in view of the current challenging civil society environment.
It is the right moment to reflect on where we stand and where to go next as a community. The session will be a pivotal opportunity to consult and engage with members, align the strategic vision and take stock of the expectations and evolution in the sector. It will help ensure that the community’s goals and activities in the upcoming period address the needs of the philanthropic community.
The Organisational Development Community of Practice offers a safe space where philanthropy professionals can learn and explore the challenges of providing OD support in an effective manner; and where they can discuss challenges internal to their own organisations.
