Operations Professionals Network – Operational Efficiency in the Funder Ecosystem: Increasing Impact and Well-being

The Operations Professionals Network (OPN) will hold “Operational Efficiency in the Funder Ecosystem: Increasing Impact and Well-being” on 13-15 November, in London, UK.

Leaders and staff in the social sector are tackling complex social problems while operating in highly challenging environments. Many are pushed to the limits of their personal sustainability and burnout has become all too common. When the well-being of individuals is compromised, the impact of their organisations often suffers as well. Prioritising inner well-being not only improves personal resilience but also enhances organisational well-being, fosters collaboration, strengthens movement building, and amplifies social impact. In short, well-being amplifies well-doing.

Wellbeing has a ripple effect and supporting individual wellbeing and team resilience, allows organisations to improve their effectiveness and contributes to a healthier culture for social change.

Creating a culture of well-being is not only vital at the organisational level but also extends to the broader philanthropic and funder ecosystem. It can unlock collaboration, innovation, and the collective energy needed to tackle the world’s most pressing social challenges. By fostering an environment where well-being is prioritised, funders and organisations alike can enhance their operational efficiency, strengthen partnerships, and ultimately increase their collective impact on society.
