”Liberty, Egalité, Filantropie”, by EFC members Aydın Doğan Vakfi was hosted in Philanthropy House from 6 May to 2 September 2019.

The exhibition presents a selection of cartoons from the annual Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition, now in its 36th year. The cartoons on display are hand selected from over 3000 entries to evoke common values such as mutual understanding, respect and serve as building blocks of a common language.

The Aydın Doğan Vafki firmly believes that it is the responsibility of every individual to promote tolerance and understanding of the “other” so that societies may progress in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding and organises the annual competition in support of this belief.
