International Conference on the Research on Philanthropy
The International Conference on the Research on Philanthropy will take place in Turin on 22-23 September, organised by Compagnia di San Paolo in collaboration with Philea and the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP).
This initiative aims to explore the common opportunities and challenges for foundations and the European research community and to identify possibilities for closer dialogue. The Conference will be a unique opportunity to merge philanthropy research and institutional philanthropy. Topics of discussion will include:
- “Learning from partners – Involving beneficiaries in the strategy-making of foundations” with Volker Then, Center for Social Investment
- “Philanthropy and impact evaluation” with Gian Paolo Barbetta, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
- “15 years of European research on philanthropy at a glance – Past, present and towards an agenda for the future” with Rene Bekkers, ERNOP
