Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Network – What Are the New Funding Structures Needed to Advance Gender Equality?
The second module of the Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Network peer-learning programme “Empowering Foundations for Gender Equality” will explore “What Are the New Funding Structures Needed to Advance Gender Equality?” online on 20 September.
Amidst the escalating anti-gender backlash and the multifaceted challenges facing human rights and democracies worldwide, the second module will explore the pivotal role of cross-sectoral collaboration in protecting vulnerable communities and advancing a democratic, inclusive, gender-equal, and just world.
The Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Network aims to inspire and empower foundation representatives to advance gender equality in their operations and programmes with its new peer-learning programme “Empowering Foundations for Gender Equality”. Participants will gain knowledge, develop practical skills and network with peers, enabling them to design and implement gender-responsive initiatives effectively. This initiative is crucial as gender equality is essential for sustainable development, peace, and democracy.
