Futures Philanthropy – Exploring 21st Century Philanthropy: Open House Discussion of Survey Outcomes
Futures Philanthropy will host “Exploring 21st Century Philanthropy: Open House Discussion of Survey Outcomes” online on 25 September to share key outcomes of the Exploring 21st Century Philanthropy survey and hear reflections from those who contributed to the study.
What are key drivers of change, disruptions and critical uncertainties impacting society and philanthropy in the long-term? What internal risks and opportunities does philanthropy need to be aware of? What are future societal changes where philanthropy’s action will be needed today and tomorrow? What does futures philanthropy look like?
These were some of the questions Philea asked in its Exploring 21st Century Philanthropy survey which received 238 responses from a range of organisations. Community foundations, philanthropic foundations and networks, civil society organisations, businesses, media, think tanks and research institutions shared a wealth of insights, suggestions, dilemmas, aspirations and hopes for the future of philanthropy. The open house will offer a space to explore the outcomes of the survey and reflect upon them.
