European Day of Persons with Disabilities Conference 2020
The European Day of Persons with Disabilities conference is an annual event hosted by the European Commission (DG EMPL), in partnership with the European Disability Forum, to mainstream disability issues and raise awareness of the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in their everyday lives.
The 2020 conference, taking place on the 1-2 December, will include discussions on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on persons with disabilities and will be an opportunity to put forward the results of the evaluation of the European Disability Strategy 2010-2020 and to have a last round of reflections for the forthcoming Strategy on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030.
