The Data Science Group will host a webinar on 25 September exploring “Data Governance and Stewardship as the Bedrock for Responsible AI Adoption”.
In Europe, we have already seen the implementation of legislation dictating how data will be protected with regard to the growing domain of AI, but as the capabilities of these burgeoning technologies are unprecedented, it is difficult to balance innovation with protection. Data governance and stewardship are critical considerations for the implementation of responsible artificial intelligence.
Stefaan Verhulst, The GovLab and The Data Tank, will explore the importance, utility and shortcomings of data handling in civil society in an open discussion with members of the Data Science Group.
