The Communications Professionals in Philanthropy Community of Practice will gather to explore “Communications Professionals in Philanthropy Community of Practice – Navigating Reputational Risk and Failure in Communications” in London on 2-4 June, looking at reputational risk both externally and internally.
Foundations operate in a context of growing scrutiny and polarised public debate, where reputational risk has become part of everyday communications work. There are often no “safe” options, whether choosing to speak out, stay quiet, or take a public stance, everything carries a risk.
This session creates space for open, peer‑to‑peer reflection on risk, organisational dynamics and moments when things did not go as planned. The meeting continues on 3–4 June with a joint exchange with The Communications Network.
