A Local Strategy for the Social Economy Action Plan
“A Local Strategy for the Social Economy Action Plan” will take place on 18 April, hosted by Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani within the framework of the BREED project, in Brussels, Belgium.
The BREED project, funded by the European Commission through COSME Programme, aims to promote the uptake and enhancement of social economy in Europe. The project targets several Mediterranean countries facing similar problems and challenges, and aims to support the resilience of the European economy through the strengthening of competences of public and private entities in the field of social economy, inter-institutional cooperation and innovation.
The event will act as the closing point of the first phase of the project, which focused on transnational capacity building through a Social Missions programme, and the launch of the second phase, focused on the development of Social Economy Action Plans at the local level.
Philea’s Vice-President, Carola Carazzone will speak on the potential of philanthropy in the social economy ecosystem.
