Our new members:

Allianz Kulturstiftung

Allianz Kulturstiftung initiates and funds multilateral arts, culture and education projects, with an aim towards fostering mutual understanding and dialogue in Europe and the Mediterranean area. Their main focus is on cross-disciplinary and contemporary projects that put innovative approaches into practice, and help shape social change with the spirit of European integration.

Created in 2000 by Allianz SE, the organisation funds both third parties projects, and its own initiatives.

 

Cecilia Zino Foundation

The Cecilia Zino Foundation was established in 1961 to fulfil the desire expressed by Dona Cecilia Rose Zino to create a paediatric hospital dedicated to the poor children of Madeira Island. In 1974 the hospital was transformed into a centre to aid children and young people in need and through its residential care centre the Foundation continues to protect and assist children and youth in need.

 

Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura della Compagnia di San Paolo

The Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura della Compagnia di San Paolo is a cultural foundation that specialises in supporting research in the humanities and preserving the knowledge of cultural heritage in innovative ways so as to reach as wide a public as possible. The foundation manages and preserves the Historical Archives of the Compagnia di San Paolo and supports early-career researchers.

 

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna was established in 1991 by the Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna and is committed towards supporting the community in Bologna, along with organisations and projects aimed at social, cultural and economic development. The foundation runs and supports projects in the field of Arts and Culture, Scientific and Technological Research, Education and Social Care.

 

Learning for Well-being Foundation

Learning for Well-being was established in 2004 with the aim of supporting the environments and processes that allow individuals and groups to develop their potential, to inspire people to listen more to children and to support more initiatives aiming to improve their well-being. The foundation develops and runs projects involving child participation, education, knowledge sharing and research and assessment.

 

Stiftung Deutsche Welthungerhilfe

Stiftung Deutsche Welthungerhilfe was created in 1998 as a result of the will of the board of the NGO Welthungerhilfe e.V. The objective of the foundation is to provide long-term, continuous support to the work of the NGO, which develops projects to end hunger and poverty in over 30 countries worldwide through development cooperation, humanitarian aid and disaster risk reduction.

A.I.R. Europe – Applied Research in the Behavioral Sciences GmbH

The mission of AIR is to improve the lives of the disadvantaged by conducting and applying behavioural and social science research and evaluation. They work worldwide with an emphasis on low and middle income countries, and focus on areas such as: pre-primary, primary and secondary education; refugees and migrants, social learning, violence prevention and trauma; and youth development.

 

EMERGENCY ong onlus

Emergency ong onlus is a humanitarian organisation founded in Milan in 1994 to help the civilian victims of war and poverty. Emergency works extensively in conflict-ridden regions such as Afghanistan and Iraq to provide free medical care. The purpose and objectives of the Association are to promote a culture of peace and solidarity and to promote the assertion of human rights. The Association is committed to helping the victims of armed conflict, especially civilians.

 

Reporters Sans Frontières 

Reporters Sans Frontières strives for a world in which all people benefit from freely available information that enables them to be aware of the challenges in their local environment, and worldwide, and provide them the opportunity to form their own opinion. Reporters Sans Frontières promotes freedom, pluralism and the independence of journalism, by defending those who embody those ideals through prevention, training, assistance to journalists worldwide, and supporting research and publications about press freedom.
