The EFC’s Research Forum publishes report on its 2018 conference in Hanover
The EFC’s Research Forum has published the report for its Hanover conference, titled ”Thinking beyond national borders – research and funding across boundaries”, that occurred at Herrenhausen Palace, in October 2018.
The two day conference served as a space to listen to the various perspectives on the processes of international research from researchers, funders and institutions alike, discuss the various issues, aims and objectives that this research and collaboration create, and then delve into the very reasons why international research is conducted in the first place.
The conference report provides a summary of the key messages and discussions of the conference, the issues and challenges of international research raised by the speakers, and the findings of the interactive workshops that brought together members of the audience and speakers to discuss on a more intimate scale some key questions of the conference.
