Robert Bosch Stiftung publishes study on democracy in Germany, France, Britain, Poland and the US
Robert Bosch Stiftung has published a new study on democracy “Itʼs Complicated. People and Their Democracy in Germany, France, Britain, Poland, and the United States” providing insight into the attitudes, needs, and ambitions of people in the five countries on the subject of democracy.
The organisation More in Common took on this task on behalf of Robert Bosch Stiftung, surveying more than 10,000 citizens across Germany, France, Britain, Poland, and the United States. The study gives actors from politics, civil society, media, and education an opportunity to reflect on whether they are reaching the right people to preserve democracy, or whether new approaches must be identified to strengthen trust and engagement.
The topic of democracy will be one of the four tracks, alongside climate, society and philanthropy, guiding discussions at the EFC Annual Conference 2021 in Vienna.
