Philea launches survey on democracy projects ahead of European Parliamentary elections

Philea has launched a survey seeking to identify organisations and projects safeguarding and innovating European democracy ahead of the European Parliamentary elections.

The 2024 European Parliament elections are fast approaching. Many reports and trackers point to a worrying decline of democratic values and systems in Europe, which could stall many of our agendas for the next 5 years. Philea’s Democracy Network is eager to identify organisations or projects where additional funding could make a real impact in safeguarding and innovating our European democracy in the leadup to these elections. Examples could be projects aimed at increasing voter turnout, combating misinformation, fostering a healthy culture of debate, reducing polarization, or safeguarding the electoral process.

The deadline is 31 January
