National Foundation for Civil Society Development launch “Community Potential” initiative, seeking to mobilise community action post COVID-19
The National Foundation for Civil Society Development has launched the “Community Potential” initiative, seeking to mobilise community action in mitigating the expected socio-economic consequences of COVID-19 after the pandemic is under control.
The initiative, launched in partnership with other civil society organisations in Croatia, will seek to identify the potential in local communities to serve as the drivers of change and development, and prepare them for a faster recovery once the immediate pressures of the pandemic are under control, and the socio-economic damages of the pandemic, and earthquake are better understood.
The first step of the initiative will see the National Foundation conduct with its partners an analysis of the existing and possible potential of local self-government units to better understand the community potential and to help aid the implementation of the initiative.
