Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation
The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation advances societal development through its institutions of excellence in education, culture, and scientific research:
- Suna’nın Kızları: Developing and scaling evidence-based models that strengthen girls’ educational participation, well-being, and long-term empowerment, with a focus on research, field implementation, and systems-level impact.
- NDAL – Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Neurodegeneration Research Laboratory: Supporting high-level scientific research on neurodegenerative diseases, contributing to international scholarship, capacity building, and the advancement of biomedical knowledge.
- Pera Museum: Promoting access to art and culture through internationally recognized exhibitions, collections, and public engagement programs.
- Istanbul Research Institute: Advancing research and public knowledge on the history and culture of Istanbul and Anatolia through academic grants, publications, and archival resources.
What distinguishes the Foundation is its integrated and institution-building approach. We do not operate solely as a grant-maker; we establish and sustain centers of excellence that combine research, implementation, and public engagement.
Our key strength lies in bridging knowledge and practice across disciplines—from educational innovation and girls’ empowerment to cultural stewardship and scientific research. Through long-term commitment and evidence-based work, we contribute to a more equitable, informed, and intellectually vibrant society.
