LEGO Foundation launches “Build a World of Play Challenge” providing DKK 900 million towards ideas focusing on children’s wellbeing and development
The LEGO Foundation has launched the “Build a World of Play Challenge” providing DKK 900 million (approximately $143 million) towards transformative ideas that focus on young children’s wellbeing and holistic development, while addressing global social issues.
The challenge is looking for ideas that give children the brightest start to life and is seeking impactful solutions that support the wellbeing of children, their families, and their communities. The open call is open to all organisations worldwide to submit proposals that centre on supporting children from birth to six. 10 proposals will be selected by a panel for grants worth DKK 6.5 million each (approximately $1 million), with a further 5 of these then receiving another DKK 200 million each (approx. $30 million each).
