Julia Gillard announced as next Chair of Wellcome Trust
Julia Gillard has been announced as the next Chair of Wellcome Trust succeeding Eliza Manningham-Buller, who will step down in April 2021.
Julia Gillard, the former Prime Minister of Australia from 2007-2013, who oversaw the successful management of Australia’s economy following the global financial crisis “will support Wellcome’s growing ambition to address through science the health challenges facing the world” stated outgoing Chair, Eliza Manningham-Buller.
