Fondation Chanel launch a call for proposals looking to ”Advance women’s and girls’ independence and empowerment”
Fondation Chanel have launched a call for proposals for projects that aim to “Advance women’s and girls’ independence and empowerment” in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
The thematic priorities of the call include, but are not limited to:
- Access to economic resources and entrepreneurship: promote access to employment and entrepreneurship as a way to reduce discrimination and to foster the financial independence of women and girls.
- Education and training: promote access to education, vocational training, and communication and information technologies as basic requirements to obtain employment and to durably improve women’s social and economic situation.
- Leadership and decision-making: strengthen the self-confidence, the capacity for expression and for action of women and girls as key success factors and means to promote gender equality.
- Health and social protection: secure access to healthcare and social protection as a crucial prerequisite to autonomy.
Fondation Chanel, an EFC member since 2016, welcome proposal submissions from local, national, and regional social purpose organisations (SPOs) including associations, networks, implementing foundations, international organisations and social businesses with innovative and high-impact gender equality programs.
The submission deadline for the call is the 22nd February.
