Winter Meeting for Philanthropy Infrastructure Members – Harnessing AI and Data for Philanthropy Infrastructure
The Winter Meeting for Philanthropy Infrastructure Members 2025 “Harnessing AI and Data for Philanthropy Infrastructure” will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 6-7 February with a focus on philanthropy data, and the role philanthropy infrastructure organisations play in building and sharing evidence-based narratives on contributions of philanthropy to society.
As the network expands, the focus on capacity building emerges, particularly in the realms of philanthropy data management, AI and digital transformation. By building a shared understanding of philanthropy data in Europe and exploring the possibilities of AI, we will build strong foundations to aspire towards a collective roadmap for robust philanthropy data in Europe. Together, these efforts contribute to a broader understanding of philanthropy in Europe, encouraging synergies in data collection and advancing knowledge across national contexts.
The session will dive into national contexts and map the data maturity of the organisations in the room, examine current data collection tools, explore how AI can maximise opportunities and discuss how to build towards a coherent European philanthropy dashboard
There will also be a practical workshop on using AI in philanthropy infrastructure organisations, drawing from the experiences of the Fondenes Videnscenter.
