Yet, a recent survey of 238 sector professionals identified misalignment between boards and executives as the most significant internal risk to philanthropy’s future effectiveness — especially when boards lack insight into emerging practices. Now more than ever, it’s vital for boards and executives to align their visions and connect with peers. Chairs and CEOs play a pivotal role in driving this alignment, and trust between them is key to organisational success.
