The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2020 came into force on 29 September in India, bringing in sweeping changes to how not for profit organisations in India can receive funds from foreign funders, moving forward. The law will also impact how foreign foundations and corporations make donations to Indian NGOs.
