The European Pavilion 2024: Liquid Becomings

The European Cultural Foundation will organise “The European Pavilion 2024: Liquid Becomings” in Lisbon on 7 November, marking the end of the European Paviliion 2024’s journey across Europe.

Liquid Becomings, the European Pavilion 2024 is a travelling pavilion and radically networked stage. It takes the form of four creative journeys by small boats along four of Europe’s greatest rivers: the Danube, the Rhine, the Tagus, and the Vistula. The four journeys cross 11 countries, travelling a combined distance of 1394 kilometres.

The European Pavilion offers an opportunity to imagine Europe through the arts, exploring what it is, and what it can or should become. Liquid Becomings, produced by espaço agora now and their partners, brings together 32 visionary artists who have sailed across four European rivers, converging in Lisbon for an exciting festival filled with exhibitions, performances, discussions and celebratory moments.
