Organisational Development Community of Practice – Exploring Emerging Practices in the Context of Evolving Grantmaker-Grantee Relations
The Organisational Development Community of Practice is organising its first in-person event on 13-14 March in Brussels, Belgium, exploring “Exploring Emerging Practices in the Context of Evolving Grantmaker-Grantee Relations”
Foundations are increasingly acknowledging the prominent role that Organisational Development (OD) support can play in improving partners’ capacity and resilience, as well as enhancing grantmaker-grantee relations. At the same time, philanthropy finds itself at an important juncture, where the modus operandi is being challenged. What role does OD support play in changing practices in philanthropy? What trends are emerging for grantmaking organisations? Are foundations on the same page?
The first in-person meeting of the community will offer participants the opportunity to engage in various different topics in five different sessions, learn from peers and form new professional relationships. There will be an opportunity to zoom in a wide variety of themes, including: narratives and language surrounding OD, participatory grantmaking, wellbeing as well as holding a peer-led case clinic.
