NOW ONLINE – Next Gen Virtual Mentorship Programme 2020
The Next Gen programme gives a new generation of professionals in philanthropy a unique chance to interact with leading philanthropy practitioners from Europe and around the world.
Next Gens are newcomers to the sector – those either at the start of their professional careers or those who are making a career change from other sectors. Traditionally the Next Gen programme takes place at the EFC’s annual conference. This year, with the postponement of the conference, we are moving one of the components of the Next Gen programme to the virtual space.
Virtual Mentorship, an activity of the Next Gen programme, matches Next Gens with more experienced philanthropy practitioners for a constructive conversation during 2020. The mentees benefit from professional development through one-on-one coaching sessions. The aim of the mentorship is to positively influence the mentees’ careers, help them form lasting networks with their peers, provide a way for mentors to give back to the philanthropic community, and enhance supportive relationships between philanthropy professionals.
The NextGen 2020 mentors and mentees have been selected.
