Migration and Belonging Network – Connecting Migration and Belonging

The Migration and Belonging Network will host “Connecting Migration and Belonging” an online peer-learning session on 24 March.
What happens when we centre belonging as a guiding principle? Across Europe, a belonging lens can open opportunities for funders to move from transactional grantmaking to deeper, more connected forms of change.
The first peer‑learning session of the network invites funders to explore what a belonging lens means for the migration ecosystem and how it can reshape philanthropic governance, power‑sharing, and grantmaking practice. The interactive exchange will feature Letícia Ishibashi, Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Sophie Ngo Diep, EPIM and will see participants explore how a belonging lens can rebalance funder–community relationships, connect philanthropic strategies across movements and issue areas and help clarify migration funding priorities and enable more transformative grantmaking.
This event is for funders-only.
The Migration and Belonging Network is a funders-only space, co-hosted by Philea and the European Philanthropic Initiative for Migration. If you wish to get involved in this session or future activities, contact Nils Luyten, Philea and Janina Stürner-Siovitz, EPIM.
