The European Community Foundation Initiative and Philea’s European Philanthropy Coalition for Climate will co-host “How #PhilanthropyForClimate can propel climate action in community foundations” on 23 September, 14.00-15.30 CET.
Climate change is a local community issue, and community foundations can play a distinctive role in addressing this global crisis through partnerships and local engagement. Given the scale and urgency of this crisis, we need more foundations to take meaningful action, regardless of size, geographic location or mission area.
In this meeting, we’ll explore how community foundations can leverage the #PhilanthropyForClimate commitment framework to integrate climate action across their work.
