Franco-German Philanthropy Days
The Asko Foundation, Fondation de France, and Maecenata Stiftung are organising a cycle of webinars, the Franco-German Philanthropy Days aimed at developing mutual knowledge and understanding between the sectors in France and Germany.
Philanthropy, a societal pillar of our modern democracies, has known and is aware of specific organisations and actions in each European country. It therefore seems useful and promising to start a common reflection on the current realities of philanthropy in our two countries and on possible common strategies. This initiative is a first, because beyond occasional cooperation on specific issues, there has not yet been an effort to reflect and bring together Franco-German in the philanthropy sector.
The first session “Philanthropy in France and Germany” will take place on 17 November from 11:00 to 12:30.
The second session “The Franco-German and European dimension of philanthropy” will take place on 1 December from 11:00 to 12:30.
