Foundation Masterclass: Fundamentals of transformational multi-sector partnership
The Partnering Initiative will host “Foundation Masterclass: Fundamentals of transformational multi-sector partnership” in Kartause Ittingen on 25-26 February, in collaboration with Philea, Stiftung Mercator Schweiz and WINGS.
In today’s world of shrinking state budgets, overstretched civil society, and overlapping social and climate crises, partnership-building is no longer optional, it is essential. Traditional grantmaking alone cannot meet the scale or complexity of the challenges we face. Philanthropy is uniquely positioned to spark bold collaboration, unite diverse stakeholders, and champion innovation where others may hesitate. By developing your capacity to invest in collaborative approaches, your foundation can amplify the impact of every grant, foster resilient cross-sector relationships, and create enduring outcomes that extend well beyond individual funding cycles.
This masterclass is designed for philanthropy professionals in grantmaking foundations who are actively involved in building and managing partnerships, whether you’re just beginning to explore collaborative approaches or already leading complex, multi-sector initiatives. Over two days, participants will explore partnership fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, organisational readiness, the role of philanthropy, and more.
The Masterclass is part of TRANSFORM!, an initiative led by The Partnering Initiative, Philea and WINGS, designed to empower foundations to become catalytic partners in transformational development.
