European Philanthropy Coalition For Climate – Progress in Practice: A Gathering of Philanthropy For Climate Signatories in Europe
The European Philanthropy Coalition For Climate will host “Progress in Practice: A Gathering of Philanthropy For Climate signatories in Europe” bringing together Philanthropy For Climate signatories from across Europe, on 18 May, in Copenhagen, Denmark, just before the Philea Forum 2026.
Philanthropy For Climate began in 2019 as a public pledge by 14 UK foundations and has since snowballed into a global movement with nearly 1000 signatories from across the philanthropy ecosystem. Recent progress tracking demonstrates that we are shifting from intention to clear action, with signatories increasingly embedding climate considerations across their work.
The gathering will provide a moment for signatories to reconnect with the wider movement ahead of the Philea Forum 2026, share experiences and take stock of progress to date. The gathering offers a space to reflect, learn from peers, and explore practical opportunities to deepen engagement with climate, individually and collectively.
This gathering is for signatories of the Philanthropy For Climate commitments,, however a limited number of places are available for non-signatory Philea members.
