Climate movements and funders: A crucial relationship

If the next decade is a flashpoint for the world’s future, the relationship between climate movements working on the ground and the funders who support them is becoming yet more crucial. ​​​​​​​Following Alliance’s magazine’s recent issue on social movements, they are hosting a webinar seeking insights from funders of climate movements, as well as from movements themselves, on what is needed to work together more effectively in the face of the climate crisis.

Sonia Medina, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Nnimmo Bassey, Global Greengrants Fund/Health of Mother Earth Foundation, and Clare Farrell, Extinction Rebellion have been announced as speakers.

The webinar forms part of the ClimatePhilanthropy2030 initiative of which the EFC, alongside organisations including the European Climate Foundation and IKEA Foundation, are founding partners.
