Brick by brick – Building an effective strategy for social housing in Europe
The EFC is organising “Brick by brick – Building an effective strategy for social housing in Europe” a conversation on 22 April looking at social housing in Europe, with foundations and experts in the sector.
The cost of housing in most European countries has become simply unaffordable for many. With over 120 million people in the European Union at risk of poverty and social exclusion, a housing emergency in dire need of solutions is growing. This first exploratory meeting will gather a number of stakeholders involved in the development of housing strategies that not only focus on affordable housing but also aim to provide sustainable and inclusive housing solutions that support the resilience of rural and urban communities.
The meeting will see European organisations specialising in social housing share their first-hand experiences on the topic, details on their activities and offer an opportunity to jointly identify possible areas to focus upon for upcoming exchanges.
This event is by invitation only.
