Be Philanthropy 2026

The King Baudouin Foundation will host Be Philanthropy 2026 on 2 April in Brussels, exploring trends, opportunities and challenges in philanthropy in Belgium and internationally.

In a global context marked by growing social, economic, and geopolitical tensions, philanthropy is being called to reinvent itself. This transformation requires reflection on its responsibility, priorities, and role in shaping the society of tomorrow. Philanthropists themselves are becoming bold and creative actors: tailored support, innovative tools, and flexible approaches are redefining practices and pushing the boundaries of philanthropic action.

With an international scope, Be Philanthropy is the crossroads where all the energies shaping the future of this field converge. Philanthropists, notaries, policymakers, wealth advisors, and representatives of companies and foundations—Belgian, European, and international—come together to decode trends, discover inspiring initiatives, and jointly set tomorrow’s priorities. The voices of younger generations of philanthropists will be particularly encouraged.

Philea is co-organising a session “Harnessing the Power of Collaborative Dialogue” with the Belgian Federation of Philanthropic Foundations and is an official partner of Be Philanthropy 2026.
