EFC European Foundation Financial and Investment Officers Group webinar opens up exchanges on impact of COVID-19 on portfolios

On 2 April the European Foundation Financial and Investment Officers Group (EFFIO) held a webinar, replacing the EFFIO spring meeting, that was scheduled to take place on 1-3 April 1-3, but was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar allowed EFFIO members to exchange information on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their portfolios, as well as reflect together on the societal ramifications of the crisis, the post-crisis investment landscape, and the health of the monetary system.

In an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality, peers talked candidly about what they got right and what they got wrong in their own portfolios. In addition to the webinar, members of the network have been exchanging insights and knowledge informally through calls and digital platforms to help strengthen their positioning and response to the crisis.

The next meeting of the network will take place in Brussels on 7-9 October.
