Applications open for Generation Now 2026

Applications are now open for Generation Now 2026, a peer-learning programme giving young professionals in philanthropy a unique chance to interact with leading philanthropy practitioners from Europe and around the world and form lasting networks with their peers.

Generation Now focuses on today’s generation of young people in philanthropy who will become tomorrow’s leaders. In a time of uncertainty and complex global challenges, young people have ideas for transformative change. Participants are early-career professionals interested in engaging more with European and global philanthropy, with the personalised-programme providing the opportunity to learn more on futures thinking and anticipation practices and to network and engage with leading philanthropy professionals from Europe and around the world.

Created in 2010 as Next Gen, Generation Now has furthered Philea’s commitment to advance learning and knowledge development in the sector and since its establishment, has seen more than 100 participants from over 50 organisations take part.

The programme is structured around the Philea Forum 2026 as an opportunity to connect with leaders from across the philanthropy field, and a series of online sessions before and after the Forum providing a space for learning and reflection.
