Our new members:

Karel Komarek Family Foundation – Czech Republic

Established in 2017, the Karel Komarek Family Foundation is one of the largest foundations in the Czech Republic and focuses its attention on the development of public space , culture, education and protection of the legacy of Antonín Dvořák. What distinguishes the foundation from its peers is a focus on the process as well as the final result.

Pew Charitable Trusts – United States

Founded in 1948, the Pew Charitable Trusts is a public charity working worldwide to improve public policy, inform the public, and invigorate civic life. With a long history of working for public good, today the work of the organisation is distilled into five programmatic areas: Communities, Governing, Environment, Health and Families.

Our new affiliates:

Center for Civilians in Conflict – United States

The Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) envisions a world in which no civilian is harmed in conflict. They support communities affected by conflict and have a presence in conflict zones throughout the world where they collaborate with civilians to bring their protection concerns directly to those in power, engage with armed actors to reduce the harm they cause to civilian populations, and advise governments and multinational bodies on how to make life-saving and lasting policy changes.

Lutheran World Federation – Switzerland

The Lutheran World Federation is a widely recognised, international, faith-based organization working in over 27 countries to bring people of all backgrounds together for justice, peace and reconciliation. A defining feature of the organisations work is local rootedness and global connectivity, linking local community voices with international dialogue, advocacy and peace work.

Stichting Edukans – The Netherlands

Established in 2002, Stichting Edukans seeks to provide education to disadvantaged children and youth around the world and is headquartered in the Netherlands, with smaller offices in Malawi, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda. From providing quality education to marginalised people, and education in emergencies to helping disadvantaged youths develop the skills needed to enter the labour market and make them financially independent.

UNIMED, the Mediterranean Universities Union – Italy

UNIMED, the Mediterranean Universities Union, is an association of more than 100 universities from over 20 counties sharing the Mediterranean basin. It acts in different scientific fields and aims to develop research and education within the Euro-Mediterranean area in order to contribute to scientific, cultural, social and economic cooperation.

World Food Programme – Italy

Created in 1961 at the behest of US President Dwight Eisenhower, the World Food Programme is one of the world’s largest humanitarian organisations, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build pathways to peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disaster and the impact of climate change.
