Rinat Akhmetov Foundation celebrates 15 years of supporting society in Ukraine
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary on the 15 July, sharing the many projects the foundation carries out across Ukraine and continues to implement on a national level.
The foundations work, primarily focused on dealing with social problems, and supporting people’s health, has been working hard through the COVID-19 epidemic. Otherwise the foundation has a number of projects and programs aimed at humanitarian assistance, medicine, culture and social development, and promoting family education.
Rinat Akhmetov, the founder of the organisation shared an open letter stating “It was 15 years of very difficult, but at the same time of very important and necessary work. It was 15 years of helping people, helping those in need, helping those whom no one else can help, helping here and now. You accepted the most ambitious challenges: to defeat tuberculosis, to help orphaned children find a loving family, to deliver food to the elderly in the locations of military operations – to our near and dear Donbass. Now you help Ukraine to cope with the epidemic of the coronavirus.”
