Philea and Compagnia di San Paolo launch survey on data work in philanthropy in Europe
Philea and Compagnia di San Paolo have launched a survey on data management and data science in foundations and philanthropic organisations in Europe, with the aim of mapping out what activities foundations in Europe undertake in the realm of data.
As we recognise the growing importance of work relating to data, in particular on data science, data management and artificial intelligence, the survey has been developed to map out the ways philanthropy in Europe currently uses data in its activities. Philea currently hosts a Data Science Group, convening data scientists and enthusiasts from the sector to exchange different practices and know-how, however, beyond this forum, there is an appetite to further explore what is being undertaken by other philanthropic actors in Europe.
The deadline is 14 May.
