Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia was established in 1990, as the continuation of Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia by the 218/90 law and the 356/90 Legislative Decree. Since the 1st January 1992 the foundation has been pursuing public interest and social benefit aims in order to support the economic development of local communities.

Mission

To develop social welfare and economical developments in the following fields: scientific research; education and training; the arts; conservation and valorisation of cultural heritage and the environment; health, and assistance and support to the most vulnerable parts of society, with a particular focus on assistance to the elderly and young people.

Geographic Focus

Provinces of La Spezia and Lunigiana (Province of Massa Carrara).
