The Bertelsmann Stiftung and Humanity in Action have teamed up with Andrew Keen, author of How to Fix the Future, to launch a video and podcast series called #HowtoFixDemocracy, that explores practical responses to the threats facing democracies around the world.

Host Andrew Keen interviews prominent thinkers, writers, politicians, technologists, and business leaders.

Episode 7 features Ivan Krastev, chairman of the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia, permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, and speaker at the EFC AGA and Conference 2019, discussing democracy’s capacity for self-correction, the disappearance of the political centre, and how DC today reminds Ivan of Bulgaria in the 1990s with Andrew.
