Henry Ford III joins the board of the Ford Foundation

The Ford Foundation has announced the election of Henry Ford III to its Board of Trustees, the first member of the Ford family to be on board of the foundation in 40 years.

Mr Ford joins the board with a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, serving on the boards of The Henry Ford Museum, Operation Hope and Neighborhood Villages, as well as a history of working in southeastern Michigan and Detroit, the birthplace of the Ford Motor Company and Ford Foundation.

The President of the Ford Foundation, Darren Walker stated he was delighted ”for him to bring his dedication to social justice to his board” and marks a reconnection with the Ford family.
