OECD Forum 2019
The OECD Forum brings together high-level government representatives, from OECD member countries and key partners, with stakeholders from civil society, business, trade unions, philanthropy, academia and media to discuss world issues and challenges.
The 2019 Forum, held during OECD Week, from the 20th May to 23rd May, will be chaired by the Slovak Republic and co-chaired by Canada and South Korea, and will discuss issues surrounding the rising inequalities in economic and social opportunity that are affecting people of all ages and genders, dampening the diversity and richness of our societies and hindering prosperity, well-being and inclusion.
The programme will seek to examine features of the global digital transformation that influence entrepreneurship, the future of work, skills, AI and education, and will also address global issues in climate change, development, tax, governance, and the need for enhanced international and multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve targets and create fairer societies.
The 2018 OECD Forum saw 4,000 participants from 73 countries engage with 237 speakers in 90 sessions on a broad range of discussions hoping to move from dialogue to action in shaping solutions and bridging divides.
