EFC European Environmental Funders Group Autumn Meeting – Funding for the Environment: connect and learn together
The EFC’s European Environmental Funders Group (EEFG) Autumn Meeting will dive into ”Funding for the Environment: connect and learn together” on 5-6 December, in Philanthropy House, Brussels, offering the network’s members to chance to reconnect, share and learn on areas of common interest.
With a new European Commission taking office and a newly elected European Parliament, funders will investigate the most pressing policy priorities, their possible implications and discuss about their role in this key political moment. Participants will have the chance to get updates on EU policy priorities for the environment in the new 2030 agenda, to discuss specifically about the impact of sustainable finance on the environment and the implications of trade and investment policies on environmental issues.
Finally it will also be an occasion to connect funders with diverse stakeholders, offer a space for networking and intelligence sharing, and provide strategic reflection upon opportunities for funding and collaboration in the field of the environment in general.
The meeting takes place immediately after a joint meeting between the European Foundations for Sustainable Agriculture and Food and the EEFG, and participants of the Autumn Meeting are invited to attend the prior meeting and dive into cross cutting issues of agriculture, food and the environment.
The meeting is strictly for funders only and participation is conducted on a first come first served basis.
