EFC Children’s Thematic Network Webinar – Children and COVID-19 – a closer and holistic dialogue on the impact of the 2020 pandemic on children’s lives
The EFC Children’s Thematic Network will host a webinar exploring on “Children and COVID-19 – a closer and holistic dialogue on the impact of the 2020 pandemic on children’s lives” on 29 May.
The coronavirus outbreak continues to change in an unprecedented way how people interact, move, work and live their lives. Adults and children carry the burden of living during these uncertain times. Although elderly are the ones most at risk, the impact of the current situation affects children in ways sometimes unnoticed and likely to have a great consequence on their rights and well-being.
This webinar will be an open conversation on the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has on children’s rights and well-being in Europe. We will explore current changes in children’s welfare and the protection of children’s rights, discuss how the pandemic is affecting children’s well-being, and the importance of children’s participation in tailoring immediate responses, and the world after-crisis.
This event is by invitation-only.
